Meet the Delta Alpha chapter of Theta Chi, established here at Linfield in 1949.
Theta Chi was founded on April 10, 1856, at Norwich University. Theta Chi alumni are deeply rooted in the Linfield and McMinnville communities. Our brothers are athletic, driven and leadership oriented. We are involved in Linfield athletics, intramurals, student government, campus radio and sports broadcasting and various clubs. Theta Chi values the promotion of knowledge, advancing of culture, the building of character and the lost art of chivalry.
Our main philanthropy event is GI Theta Chi week of philanthropy benefiting the United Service Organizations (USO), in which we pair with the sisters of Alpha Phi. Theta Chi also donates to Yamhill County Food Bank and Salvation Army and participates in a Lincoln City beach clean-up with Phi Sigma Sigma.
In 2019, the brothers participated in a 21 means 21 campaign promoting safe decision-making. Theta Chi brothers demonstrate a “sacred purpose” by extending a helping hand to all who seek it in the Linfield and McMinnville community.
Theta Chi fraternity is a cornucopia of information, knowledge and fun. We invite you to come to the house to learn about the brothers, your school and yourself.
