Complete the program online or on campus in less than a year, all while continuing to inspire your students in your current role.

Enrolling in the graduate special education generalist endorsement

Designed with working professionals in mind, offering online and evening options with multiple entry points and start dates! This is a graduate-level program option for licensed teachers who want to teach in elementary or secondary special education settings. Upon successful completion of the program, you will meet the requirements for a special education generalist endorsement (K-12) in Oregon.

The program features:

  • Six courses (totaling 20 credits)
  • Practicum totaling 90 hours in classrooms with students with exceptionalities across the full range of disabilities
  • Multiple start terms throughout the year

Program cost

  • The cost of this program is $790 per credit.

  • Federal financial aid is not available for endorsement programs.

How to apply

Graduate add-on endorsement program requirements:

  • An undergraduate bachelor's degree
  • A valid teaching or administrator license

Application checklist:

  1. Submit your application
  2. A $50 application fee is due to Linfield with your application

Application deadlines:

  • Priority admission deadline for summer start: June 1
  • Priority admission deadline for fall start: August 1
  • Priority admission deadline for spring start: January 10
