Erin Lutz has a Master of Science in Business: Sport Leadership with Highest Honors from Linfield University. Her graduate research focused on the impact of organizational design on DEIB in sport settings and how sport businesses can build representative leadership and management groups. She is also a graduate of Lewis & Clark College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a played four years for the Pioneers women’s soccer team.

As a visiting assistant professor, Erin teaches undergraduate business students courses like The Management of Sport and related topics. She is also the School of Business Intern Experience Coordinator and Faculty Supervisor for Linfield Front Office, a student-run sport management group. Prior to her appointment in the School of Business, she taught Soccer Coaching Theory in the Heath, Human Performance & Athletics department.

In addition to teaching in the classroom, Erin is a nationally recognized coach and was named to United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 list. She currently holds a USSF National C License and is a Women's Soccer Assistant Coach at Linfield University and Academy Head Coach at Oregon Premier FC.
