English is one of the official languages of Hong Kong so there is nothing keeping you from experiencing the true HKBU student experience – get engaged with activities from mountaineering to drama!

Program Details

Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU): Hong Kong

Study at HKBU in the Kowloon Tong district of Hong Kong, a vibrant city where tradition and western culture meet.

With HKBU’s students’ warmness and passion toward all the overseas exchange students, expect to be swept up into the many on and off campus activities.

Join in many of the student activities offered at HKBU, whether it be Tai Chi classes or hiking outings with the International Office.

Immerse yourself in the food culture of Hong Kong.
The language of instruction at HKBU is English.

Courses in multiple academic fields, from language to science are available for exchange students: Hong Kong Baptist University Academics

Credits taken on this program may apply towards a Chinese Studies or Asian Studies Minor, if desired.
Fall (late August - mid December)

Spring: (mid January - late May)
No language requirement for HKBU

It is highly recommended that students take TCCA 230 (Intercultural Communication: Global Perspectives).
Students live in an international dormitory during their study at HKBU.
